Africa Invest Network runs an academic sponsorship program for some of the brightest young minds in Africa who have obtained a bachelors degree in their chosen fields to pursue a Masters degree and or a PHD in the universities ranked in the top 50 in the world. Our primary focus right now is "STEM" -(Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), and the most needed programs in Africa currently are Physics, Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Computer Network Engineering, all the financial fields (Accounting, Finance, Financial mathematics, Quantitative & Computational Finance), Decision Sciences (Management Science, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Industrial Engineering, Supply-Chain, Econometrics), Social Science (Economics), all the medical fields (Neuro-Surgery, Specialty in the individual human organs, optometry, ophthalmology, audiology, anesthesiology), the study and training in the use of various medical equipments (ultrasound, etc.). For all computer science and financial fields, all applicants seeking sponsorship must have a minimum bachelor's degree in any of the following: Physics, Math, Economics, Statistics, Accounting or Computer-related major. For the medical sciences, all applicants seeking sponsorship should have completed a minimum of bachelors degree in Biology, Chemistry, or Bio-Chemistry, and must have strong quantitative skills.
